Shadows drip from the walls and slither down, out of the obscure light. Everything is drowning in pools of auburn radiance, features are vague, and boundaries dissolve into one another.

Heavy with the looming and inevitable lull of sleep, eyelids wilt and fall into the anonymity of oblivion. One final whimper, one final shudder, and all is tranquil.

Silence and serenity drag me willingly into the merciful dimness were my mind can be at rest, and the day’s tribulations vanish in the misty air.
