Love?

A gift from above

Or is it a curse

That always hits us at our absolute worst

When we are down and depressed

And our lives are an absolute mess

Or it is a game

People play without any shame

To see who they can hurt someone the worst

So they can quench their unquenchable thirst

For causing others pain

So they don't have to go through the same

But it will catch up to them one day

And they will have to pay

Love a gift or a curse

I don't know which can be worse

Not finding love

Or finding it and getting hurt

Then curse the one above
