Since I Met You

I haven't known you long

But I feel something special can come along

I use to think I was in love

But I know now it wasn't true

I thought I loved him

But all those feelings some how started to dim

When I started to find out

What he was really about

I thought we were meant to be

But he played and hurt me

And left me with a fear

Of never being able to love and hold someone dear

Now since I met you

I'm starting to feel something new

But it is to soon to know

If there will be anything between us to show

But I'm glad we had that one special night

Where you took me to new heights
