Preface
Towards the end of my junior year in high school I decided to re-write the story that started my creative writing adventure. As the story progressed, however, I seemed to hit a snag or two and allowed myself to slack off on my writing. My prose became rusty, and my ability to craft an eloquent piece of literature faded into obscurity. It is because of this, I have decided to re-write Guilty Act from the ground up with less emphasis on supernatural happenings and powers, and with more emphasis on martial arts skills and strategy.
I hope this tale will receive as much, or possibly more coverage, than the original Guilty Act received since I am toying a more descriptive style of writing.

Chapter I- The Fatal Beauty, Aurora Fenrir
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I, Aurora Fenrir, ask you but one question. What is a blood sport?” asked the crimson haired young lady as her eyes wandered about the room.
It had been the seventh board meeting in a month’s span for Twilight Foundation as they drew closer and closer to their annual project planning party. Aurora Fenrir smiled as she watched the twelve executives dressed in suits rack their brains to try and find an answer to her question. Aurora loved the power to make those around her suffer while she herself held their release in the palm of her hand.
Being the youngest CEO in the history of the Twilight Foundation, at the age of twenty-one, she had at an incredibly fast rate developed the ruthlessness that a business woman in the modern world needed. Cruel, sadistic, and megalomaniacal were the terms that best fit the young heiress to the Fenrir family fortune as she crossed her legs causing her skirt to rise up on her thighs.
“It is a sport involving bloodshed,” replied a man in a tan suit to her immediate right, “It’s something like cockfighting isn’t it?”
Aurora licked her lips at his answer. “Wrong, Crocket. A blood sport is what this company will be doing for now on as its annual project.”
A chain reaction of gasps filled the dark room with no windows, where the only source of light was those that shined directly on the individual chairs that held the Twilight executives.
“How can we condone hosting such an event, Aurora!” cried another executive, obviously female by voice.
“Sophitia is right. There is no way the public will like this!” cried yet another.
Aurora slowly crossed her arms over her breasts, her deep red hair cascading down over her shoulder. “The reason the public will condone this is because it is in our very nature and history to enjoy violence. However, the blood sport I was suggesting does not involve animals, my colleagues. It involves humans.”
“That is absolutely absurd!” yelled Crocket, springing up from his seat.
“Is it really, Crocket?” Aurora asked before continuing. “If that is so, were the Romans absurd for partaking in and enjoying the fights of the Coliseum?”
“Well, um…”
“How about the Greeks? Were the now Olympic sports of Pankration and Boxing originally absurd just because it was common place to have death?” she asked, intending to torture her underling.
“Well, no. It was part of their culture.” Crocket responded, hoping it was the right answer.
“You are absolutely right, Crocket. Now sit down and shut up!” Aurora barked, causing the man to drop back into his seat. “As I was saying, with the rise of competitive fighting organizations, it makes perfect sense to organize a martial arts tournament. People will tune in to see who makes it to the top, to see who suffers defeat, and to see who loses their very lives.”
Suddenly, it was as if Miss Fenrir was making perfect sense to the Twilight executives as they began whispering back and forth with what Aurora knew were comments on her idea.
“The martial arts tournament will follow a team battle format, with each team consisting of three members,” Aurora said, “Gender will play no role in this tournament as all laws will be thrown out of the window for the very chance of these individuals to win a grand prize of thirty-five million dollars courtesy of the Twilight Foundation. All martial arts styles will be welcome and the weak will be rooted out by the strong as preliminary bouts will be fought in order to cut the ranks down to a total of sixty-four teams. From there, the remaining teams will battle it out till there is only one left.”
A hail of claps filled the room as Aurora finished her speech, letting her know her idea was a hit. She knew very well that she was going to get her way, but just didn’t know how much effort it would take.
“Very nice job, Aurora, with your idea for the company’s project for the coming years. However, my concern is how you will gather participants?” asked another woman executive.
“That, as we speak, is being taken care of,” Miss Fenrir responded, “I have agents visiting every martial arts dojo, boxing gym, and street fighting circuit they can find in order to gather my top caliber talent. To be absolutely sure of this…” Aurora reached into her bosom, revealing a slip of black paper with white writing on it. “…I will be visiting this street fighting tournament in Suzaku City to try and find my own hand-picked talent. The tournament is called Struggle, and from just the name, I’m betting their will be plenty of blood thirsty warriors who are just itching for the chance to be the strongest.”
Another rain of applause came for the young CEO as she continued to eat up the attention. It was good to be the main piece in an otherwise worthless cog.
“Miss Fenrir, as for our tournament, what will be advertising it as?” asked the executive to the right of Crocket.
Aurora smiled. “We will call this tournament what everyone will be committing when they watch the gore fly. We will call it, Guilty Act…”

“Struggle to Survive pt. I”
“Some have called him evil, while others refer to him as a saint. Some have claimed him to be a berserker, while others claim him in being fully competent. Some refer to him as a shame on mankind, while others state he is the future of the world. No matter what people believe, the only one who know him are those who have felt his fist.”
