S e n t i ent .s

I start my morning with a thought of y o u

Your bright eyes, rosy cheeks & full lips

The way it all forms into a beautiful portrait of love

Starting from your smile with the dimples beside it

I begin to hum a tune of our f a v o r i t e song
The lines make more sense as I try to remember
Yet, they never end up in the right s y n c hroniz a t i o n
Only your f a ç a d e lingers in my mind

My midday continues to contain remnants of y o u
With m e m o ries of what seemed just like yesterday
And even my afternoon could not break away from y o u
I can’t help but notice the feel of your presence

I end my e v e ning with a visit
Leaving you flowers that I know you find p l e a s (e) ant
Enveloping you with fresh scents of a serene night
And a goodbye through a p e c k (&& kisses) from my smiling lips

I will visit you again tomorrow, until the time I can finally hold you in my arms like I used to when you were still right here beside me.
