Despair on High Winds

Flying, soaring, weaving, roaring,

Through the woods I'm talking, walking,

Wretched demons at my feet...

My heart's a flutter,

My soul's askew.

Wind is whipping at my sails,

Ripping hopes and dreams to shreds,

Tearing down my topsail canvas,

And ripping my fantasy boat to shreds.

But I fight this passionate winds,

Wear it down with my own defenses,

Make it weak,

Make it tremble,

Just like I did.,

And maybe make it through the cold,

Through the wind,

And back unto those warms arms again.

Without denial open up thy arms,

And let me in…
