Sarah Eastman, Amber Kensi, Nick Sharp, and Ben Winters, had met at the begging of High School, and had hit it of right away. The only problem was there parents and other friends. Nobody wanted them to be close. Amber was a straight A student in choir, Sarah was a popular girl, with a wild side, Nick was a skate boarder and band member, along with Ben.
Amber’s parents only wanted her to hang out with people with good grades, and an obvious plan for there life. They ran her life twenty-four seven. They had already decided for her, that her dream was to become a famous business woman. Yes, Amber was friends with someone people along those lines, but she found them boring, because they weren’t willing to take risks like her, and they didn’t know how to have fun like her either.
Sarah’s friends had a strict hold on her life, if she was seen talking to a nerd, she would get a strict talking to from her popular friends for making a fool of herself and them. They had even threatened a couple times to beat up Nick and Ben. At first they had let her talk to Nick, but after finding out about someone of his hobbies, like Band, they were not so enthusiastic about her hanging out with him. Sarah’s parents also didn’t like the idea of her hanging out with punks, which was what they called Ben and Nick.
Ben and Nick were aloud to hang with each other for the most part, but there friends
often changed there minds about it. Nick’s friends thought Ben was a wimp just because his dad was a cop. So whenever it came to the fun activities like sneaking out to skate board, or going somewhere forbidden, they often didn’t include him. And both Nick and Ben’s friends didn’t like them hanging out with Sarah or Amber, because they feared they would get soft.
For the most part though, the major problem was there parents. All of there parents had one problem or another, with atleast one of there friends. Like Ben’s parents didn’t like him hanging out with girls, and Amber’s didn’t like her hanging out with boys unless they met him, and even then they were skeptic.
No matter how hard they tried they could never seem to make the people around them happy. A lot of the time they had to resort to emailing, IMing, and sneaking around behind there friend’s and parent’s backs so they could all hang out.
So every morning they all met at the foot ball stadium, because they had found out that not very many people went over there in the morning. Most student’s stayed near the classrooms because of how cold it got in the morning. And after school they met up either in the upper classman parking lot, were Amber’s sister, Kira, parked her car, or they would meet by the volunteer club classroom on Tuesday and Thursday’s, because all of the were taking that class this year, but only because it was an excuse they could use to stay after school, and because none of there close friends had joined it.
Even though they went threw so much, they still stayed best friends, because they couldn’t help but be close to each other. They were also connected in another way, but I don’t want to give everything away yet, now do I?
