Yay for ballads about vampires...WOOT!!!...Hehe...I really enjoyed writing this one. I hope you enjoy reading it as well!!...
The moon that shines so bright above
alights your shadowed face.
Your skin to me seems pale and soft,
your cheeks I wish to trace.
Oh, you can’t see that I am here,
suspended on your sill,
with eyes so dark and ominous,
foreboding of the kill.
The blood that pulses through your veins
smells sweet just like a rose.
It calls my name and tortures me
while wafting up my nose.
Oh foolish, mortal human, you
will never understand
the pain that comes each night I have
to go without your hand.
I long to steal your innocence
and break you from this spell,
to make you change this life you have
and find your own dark Hell
A gentle push is all it takes
to move your window pane
and take my place inside your room
to force on you my pain.
I barely make a sound as I
tiptoe across your floor
and force upon you the belief
in old creatures of lore.
A silent moan slips past your lips,
a quiet, breathy sigh.
The pleasure fills me when I see
the time is on the nigh.
Your scent is so divine as it
wafts gently through my mind,
and makes me struggle with the chance
to change you to my kind.
I’ve been alone for far too long,
but this Gift is a crime.
We lust for blood and take the lives
of people all the time.
Oh, this curse is terrible and
I wish that you could see
without my taking everything
and making you like me.
But sadly I need blood to live
and yours smells just so sweet.
I can’t help but to take it and
conceal you with a sheet.
As day takes over this dark night
I leave you all alone,
two bite marks shining on your neck,
a disconnected phone.
For now I’ll hide inside this crypt,
and wait for night to fall,
‘cause then the hunger comes again
and then I’ll take you all.
