You Brought This Upon Yourselves

The world cries out in anguish.

The people look to me for help.

Yet, it is said to be my will that brought this torture upon them.

What creature could want for such suffering?

What creature could want for such pain?

I have lost all meaning to you hopeless people.

My name is now merely a cause to commit crimes.

I am blamed for all that is wrong in the world.

I try to restore the faith, but the faith no longer exists.

In its place remains a hallow excuse to bring evil to the world.

You accuse me of abandonment.

You charge me with destruction.

Yet I had no hand in it. I have lost all control.

You brought this upon yourselves.
