P ast events burn through her
A gonized eyes, empty,
L ost in the darkness, the only
L ight emerging from the taunting,
A cid laugh of Medusa, who rests on the
S hield of her chest.

A lthough she seems apathetic,
T all and looming over the earth,
H er staff is strong,
E merging from the canvas,
N ever faltering, giving her
A spark to light up her eyes.
