A Familiar Face

I am walking though a store

I have nothing to do

Then suddenly I see them

From out of the blue.

Who is the person?

I have seen them before

Thinking this hard

Makes my brain sore!

Maybe they’re from school

From one of my classes

Or many I am seeing things

I just need some glasses.

I’ll ask my friend

She knows everything

And then it hits me

And my heart starts to sing

That’s that kid

From that time and the place

I knew I knew that

Familiar face.
