I See Beauty In A Stick Figure

I see beauty in a stick figure

All pencil-thin arms and legs

But I see beauty in a stick figure

Because it means so much more to me

Than any masterpiece ever could

Because the stick figure is not there to impress you

Oh no, it is not a flashy ordeal,

Trying to be something it is not

It’s just there

With a plastered smile on its face

Looking so euphorically happy

Just to be a stick figure
