When Trees Attack, the epic poem.
One day old Jack was walking about,
The forest without a doubt,
And then he decided to sit on a tree,
And he did it with very much glee.
But then the tree turned around and said,
“Where in the world is my bread?”
And Jack asked him how trees could talk,
Or how the heck could they walk?
And the tree replied,
Teary eyed,
“First you do not give me bread,
Then you ask me of nature’s contradictions that I dread!”
“I’m sorry sir, but it cannot be…”
Jack said while he drank his tea,
“Trees are not supposed to talk or walk since they are not alive!”
“Are we trees not allowed to thrive?
I’ll show you little boy,
I’ll destroy you like you like the Greeks destroyed Troy!”
And Jack jumped off and he started to run,
Until he ran into a bun,
And he tripped and fell over and broke his knee,
That damn tree just won’t let him be.
But then the tree fell down,
With a large frown,
After all the trees cannot run,
But the race has only just begun.
