This one is a lot more light-hearted, I guess, but still makes a statement. This was the result of listening to a lot of Ani DiFranco (A.K.A. GODDESS!) So it's meant to be a fast paced acoustic folky song. Please enjoy!

You look at me like my face is on my chest
Well that would make things a whole lot easier for you
And when I point it out you make up some lame excuse
“I was reading your shirt”
You must be a real slow reader then

You poor creature
You just can’t help it, you say
What a sad existence you lead
Either that or your just full of shit

Do you think you’re subtle?
I’ll be just as subtle back
“I know where your eyes are
And it makes me uncomfortable”
You say “Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend”
But the next to girl you talk to you do the same

Those damn hormones
They get blamed for everything
Any unwanted quirk
They toss you off the control train
That’s what I’m told anyway

They also tell me I have the power
In this situation
Then tell me why I don’t feel any of it
I feel helpless
And no one does a thing about it
Objectification is just a consequence of being a woman
Too bad I can’t change from XX to XY

“What’s the big deal?”
I’ll get out my list
I don’t know what you’ll do next, and my
Words feel ignored, and you
Make me want to cover up my favorite shirt
And Wonder Woman isn’t on as many shirts as
Batman, Superman, and Spider-Man
She barely gets any clothes to wear herself

I don’t blame you
I blame whoever told you
“You can’t help it, don’t bother trying”
I blame whoever told you it’s okay

You know I have A.D.D.
And no one tells me it’s fine
If I drift off during a lesson
Everyone tells me that’s what A.D.D. makes you do
But I’m told to keep it under control
They expect to keep my eyes on the board
So give it a try and pretend the board’s my face.

For the record, I know that there is nothing wrong with a guy BRIEFLY looking at a woman as she walks by, or vice versa. It's the leering and pretending they weren't looking at her chest that bothers me. I remember, in sixth grade, I was talking to the teacher and a boy was just starring DIRECTLY at my chest. It was just a little weird then, but if it happened now I would probably freak out.

What do I want? REVIEWS! When do I want them? WHENVER CONVINIENT!
