My Salvation

She’s my salvation,

But if I’m caught here I’ll be damned.

Her red hair always seems to follow me home,

Giving me little mementos of her.

She keeps me sane,

From the mundane acts that come my way.

She leaves again,

Leaving me to gripe and moan on the phone about how much I miss her.

Just wishing I could kiss her,

Please let this last,

Because I don’t think I could find a better salvation.
