Ethereal Enigma

Dancing

Laughing

Twirling about

As

Lightning strikes

without a doubt

Illuminating

Her stage

For but a split-second

She continues on

Loving with her very soul

the stage which beckons

Drenched

Throughout

She does not care

For why should she?

‘Tis not a burden

to bear

But a

Thrilling sensation

Exhilaration

As she prances around

Bare feet on the ground

Feeling the earth

The mud

The rain

The essence of life

The very same

Droplets fly

to and from the sky

As she jumps and turns

Pure joy she earns

Does not she own

this fabled ‘battleground’;

of Water, Light,

and even Sound?

Perhaps she does

or maybe not

But either way

She can’t be stopped.

Random poem I made. Once again, about rain. Yay!

Please review if you have the patience! Critiques and compliments all welcome.
