"Where are they...? WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY!?" the man yelled furiously. His partner, trembling slighlty, summoned up every bit of courage in his body and glared at his partner and friend of many years.

"I...I destryoed them." he said in a steady voice, contrasting to the rest of his body that was shaking in terror.

"WHAT!?"

"Reichtum...this project...it's much too dangerous." he said, his voice starting to crack. "This entire ordeal...it's making you..."

"WHAT!? Making me WHAT!? Mad!? Of COURSE I'm mad! Those bastards took everything from me! EVERYTHING! They've ridiculed every single idea I've ever presented and just when we were at the BRINK of finishing one of my most ingenoius ideas, one that could change this country forever, they take it all away! For that, I'll take something from them too..." the man named Reichum said, sending a cold glare in his partners direction. "And you, Bauer. Of all people, I thought you'd be the one to understand. You always said that you would support me, no matter that. But now...you're just like them!"

"I can't let you do this..."

Reichum let out a low chuckle, pulling a black pistol from his coat pocket. "I'm sorry, Richard...but there's nothing you can do anymore."

BAM!

Skie quickly lifted her head of of her desk, wiping a line of drool from the corner of her mouth using the sleeve of her gray hoodie. A girl with chin length black hair wearing a green headband, a green tank top and dark blue jeans that were faded at the knee looked at Skie and shook her head, a grin across her face. Another girl, this one an African-American with long black hair and wearing a black short-sleeved shirt with a Pirate Jolly Roger on it, giggled as quietly as she could.

"Skie, Kelly, Krestine. Are you listening?"

"Yes, ma'am!" the three girls said in unison to their history teacher, .

"Then one of you won't mind answering this next question." Mr. Bromley said, looking in his book at the next question. Inside her head, Skie was screaming her head off and running around in cirlces. She, of course, hadn't heard a word he said for half the class. On Kree's desk was a light blue notebook filled with little stories she was writing and scattered across Kelly's desk were a bunch of doodles she had done instead of taking notes.

BRIIIIIING!

"Alright everyone, have a nice weekend." Mr. Bromley said to his students as they eached piled out of the class. Skie took it upon herself to sneak out of the class among the crowd of students that were piling out of the door. As soon as she was out of the classroom, she sprinted down the hall toward her locker.

"Home freeee!" she cheered, tagging her locker. "HA!"

"Skie, you've gotta stop falling asleep in class so much." Kelly said as she leaned against the the wall next to Skie's locker.

"Haha! She can't help herself! She's clinically disabled when it comes to staying awake long enough to pay attention to something that has nothing to do with candy." Kree said, popping up on the other side of her friend with a wide smile on her face.

"Ah, shaddup, Kree! And what exactly were you during Literature? Hmm?" Skie pressed her friend. Kree bit the inside of her cheek and shifted her eyes from left to right.

"Erm...resting my eyes?" she said, chuckling nervously.

"Pfft. More like hit the desk in the middle of Ms. Saunders' lecture." Kelly said. Kree stuck her tongue out at her friends, poking Skie when she started to laugh her head off like it was the funniest thing she ever heard.

"Nyaaa!! Anyway, are you still going to Best Buy with us, Kelly?"

"Can't. I already told you, I'm going to my cousin's wedding during the holiday." she said.

"Awww." Skie said with a pout, making a trail from her eye to her cheek using her finger.

"We're gonna miss yoooooooou!" Kree fake-cried. "HUUUUGS!"

"What!? NO!? BACK, BACK I SAY!" Kelly yelled, swatting at them with her notebook. Kree and Skie bear hugged their friend despite her very loud protests. "NOOOO! THE HUGS! THEY BUUUUUURN!"

Kelly let out a noise that sounded similiar to her 'dying'.

"OH MY GAWD, we killed her with our HUGS!" Skie yelled.

"COOL!" Kree laughed. Lifting her head up, Kelly punched her friends lightly in the arm, laughing as they rubbed her arms.

"See ya Tuesday, Kelly!" Skie and Kree waved to Kelly as she walked down the street to her house, and the remaining girls walked in the other direction to their local Best Buy. Upon entering, they walked around for a bit, messing with random electronics until one of the employees threatened to kick them out if they touched anything else.

"Hey Skie, what're you getting?" Kree asked her, resisting the urge to start messing with a few of the digital cameras on display.

"A radio."

"Another one!? Didn't you just get one two months ago for your birthday?" Kree asked, glaring at her friend with absolute jealousy.

"Yesh, but I...sorta...broke it." Skie said with a nervous grin. Kree groaned loudly, slapping a hand to her forehead. "It wasn't my fault! It was being retarded, so I smacked the top of it and it just fell apart! By the way, what're you getting?"

"A TV."

"HA! So you broke yours! Now you cannot laugh at muh clumsiness!" Skie cheered, doing a little dance in the middle of the store.

"No! Mine is just a piece of old crap..."she said half-heartedly, moving her attention from the cameras to the TV's. Skie started looking for radios too, but they were all so expensive.

"AAARGH! I don't have enough money!" they both yelled at the same time.

"Hey! Didn't I tell you two earlier that if I'll throw you out if you keep causing trouble!?" the employee from before said in an annoyed voice.

"Sorry..." Kree said sheepishly.

"You!" Skie yelled, pointing at the man. "Why's your crappy stuff so damn expensive!? HUH?"

"Will you stop yelling, already!?" he yelled. "Damn...and I'm not the one that prices this stuff. But we do have some cheaper stuff in the back."

"Can we see 'em?" Kree asked in a hopeful voice, poking out her bottom lip in a cute manner.

"...fine. Follow me." he said, leading the two girls into the storage room of the store. "You're not supposed to be back here, so don't touch anything!"

Hearing this, Skie quickly stuffed her hands into her pockets before she poked a very interting-looking box. Walking around, Skie half-heartedly looked at all the packaged boxes that were on the shelves. She snapped her head back when she heard something behind her and she could've sworn she saw something...glowing.

"Psst. Kree!"

Kree turned toward her friend, walking over to her. "What is it?"

"I saw something over there." Skie pointed in the direction the glow was coming from. Kree looked in the direction she was pointing, not seeing anything.

"I don't see anything."

"That's 'cause you're blind!" Skie said, walking in the direction she was just pointing in.

"Am not!" Kree yelled. "And wait for me, dangit!!"

Skie slowed down, but only slightly, until Kree cauight up with her. They kept walking until they reached a dead end. Infront of them were a bunch of boxes, all labeled 'SAMSUNG'. Turning one of the boxes so she could read the label, Skie saw that it was a medium-sized television set. "Hey look! How 'bout this one?" Skie waved Kree over to where the TV was and opened it. It was the right size for her room, but alittle larger than what would fit on her TV stand. "Hmm...I like this one! Thanks, Skie!"

"Ha! Fear muh TV-finding powers!" Skie cheered, restarting her dance from earlier. Kree just laughed as she closed the box to the television set that was soon to be hers. As she did this, a second box caught her eye. This one was contained a radio made by SAMSUNG.

"Oh, Sk-iiiiie." Kree said in a creepy, sing-song voice. "I found a ra-di-oooooo!"

Skie stopped mid-cabbage patch to look around wildly for a radio." WHERE!? TELL MEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Kree laughed as she pointed at the box infront of her, watching as Skie lunged at it and pulled it open like she was a little kid getting a new toy for Christmas. "OMG, it looks so AWESOME!"

The radio was about alittle more than half the size of Kree's TV and many features were labeled on the top of it, though Skie'd probably break msot of the buttons trying to figure out what they all did.

"Hey! What're you two doing back here!?" the two of them looked up, seeing their 'escort' from earlier.

"We found what we were lookin' for." Kree said, lifting her box up. Skie did the same with hers, a large smile crossing her face.

"...guess so. Alright, get outta here already! Before I lose my job over this..."

Kree and Skie jumped to their feet, saluting the Best Buy man. "Yes, sir!" they squealed, marching out of the room like they were perfert little soldiers. NOT! After paying for their new items, the girls went home, secretly wishing they had a car so they would have to carry their boxes five blocks.

"HOOOOOOOOOOOME!" Skie yelled, collapsing on the floor of her room. "So tired...why must this cool radio be so darn heavy?"

Still, she couldn't help but feel alittle excited about the radio she just bought; It was even cooler than the old one her dad had got her for her birthday! So she ripped the box open the same way she did the the store, except now the pieces of the box were completely shredded and thrown to all corners of the room.

"Must...fine...SPOT!" Skie yelled, looking to all corners of her cluttered room until she found the perfect spot: on her NIGHTSTAND! "A-HA!" she squealed, pushing her drawing papers, coloring pencils and CD's to the side to made room for her awesome radio. Plugging it into the only unoccupied outlet in her entire room, two lights on the front of the radio started to glow slightly, almost as if they were eyes.

"YOSH! It works!!" Skie cheered, doing some kind of tribal song and dance around her radio, only stopping when the phone in her room started to ring. Lunging at it, she picked up the reciever. "Hello, you've reached Skie, the girl of awesome craziness! May I take ya order?"

"Hey Skie-chan!" Kree said, grinning from ear to ear on the other side of the phone.

"Kree-chan! What's up?"

"Nuffin' much...just lookin' up stuff on YouTube." she said, then smacked the top of her computer when it froze. "WORK, YOU SUNOVA--"

"Lang-guaaaaage!" Skie said in a sing-song voice. Kree grumbled through the phone, making Skie burst into laughter. "Why don't you just use your laptop?"

"No internet connection. TO STARBUUUCKS! AWAAAAAY!" Kree yelled, doing an arm pump that Skie could practically hear through the phone. "Hey, what time is it?"

Skie looked at the clock on her radio. Man, it was so cool! "12: 36...OMG, WHAT THE HECK!?! How'd it get so flippin' LAAAATE!?!"

"Simple. We were abducted by aliens that probed us with their Star Trek probe thingies and dumped us back here on earth three hours later!" Kree said with a smart grin across her face. Skie made fake snore sounds through the phone. "SHTOP DAT! OR I SHALL SEND MY FLYING BANANAS AFTER YOOOOU!"

"HA-HA! ...man, 'm tired..." she said all of a sudden. "I'm goin' ta bed..."

"Me, too. 'Night, crazy one." Kree said.

"Night, equally crazy one." Skie said, then hung up the phone. As she sprawled out onto her bed, Skie's was ablivious to the fact that something was watching her...
