Under Golden Moonlight

Passing through a needle,

My heart’s shards do stitch

A winter cloak of bells and starlight

For bare and broken shoulders,

That I may live to see the spring

And the lilacs’ perfume

That sweetens my dreams

I wish not to awaken from.
