Chapter 3-Breakfast Battles

“Rai, are you sure about all of this, because it sounds crazy, even for you.” Kimiko said.

“I'm sure! She was a totally different person!” Raimundo yelled. “Of course then again, she was more normal with the necklace” he muttered under his breath.

“What do you mean partner?” Clay asked.

“She kept saying Omi. That was the only word she would say.” Raimundo said, pacing the floors. “Look, somethings not right, and we need to kind out what.

-Chase's Palace-

“Very good rebel. Very good.” Chase said, examining the Wu.

“I'd thought you'd like them.” Natasha said, while on one knee.

“Get up.” Chase said standing up. Natasha did as commanded. Her eyes still hazel, the pupil of her cat-eye necklace still glowing. Chase grabbed the golden charm and covered the glowing pupil. Her eyes gained enough color to turn back to the original brown they once were. Her body relaxed. She grabbed her wrist and sucked in air through her teeth. Chase turned around and gave her a questioning look.

“Apparently I got beat-up and passed out and forgot somewhere along the line.” Chase turned around and picked up the bag of Wu and left. Natasha sighed and walked into her room. “This has happened way to many times before.” she muttered to herself. She dug through her drawers until she came across her old wrist brace. She slipped it on and flopped onto her bed. She closed her eyes just for a moments rest. Chase walked in no less than ten minutes later to call for dinner. All he saw was a beat up girl that had been over-worked sleeping. He turned around and walked out.

-Xiaolin Temple-

Raimundo kept tossing and turning on his mat, unable to sleep. The rose, blinding him. He moaned and got out of his bed He shuffled to the kitchen for breakfast. He poured a bowel of cereal and sat down at the table. “Morning partner!” Clay shouted. Raimundo cringed in pain at the sudden loud noise. Clay sat down across from Raimundo. “Did you sleep at all last night Rai?”

“Nope.” Raimundo answered, short and simple.

“Why not partner?” Clay asked, concerned.

“Raimundo looked down at his cereal and said, “Something bugging me about that girl, Natasha. Somethings not right. It keeps bugging me. It won't let me sleep. It won't leave me alone.” Raimundo sighed. “Something.”

“Sounds like it's really bugging you.” Clay said with his mouth full.

“It is.” Rai said, and started to eat.

“Well, why don't we go find out?” Clay asked, nearly done with his cereal. Raimundo looked up suspiciously. “Well, why not?” Clay asked again.

“Yeah, why not?” Raimundo answered. “Let's go.”

-Chase's Palace-

Natasha gently woke up. She forced herself up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. The room was totally dark except for the laptop charging in the corner. She swung her feet of the bed and forced herself to get up. “I'm hungry.” she muttered to herself. Normally she was the first one up. She'd eat breakfast and then fixed Chase's, but every now and then Chase would get up first and fix it. Not usually, but every once in awhile. The minute she hit the kitchen she saw Chase sitting down and eating breakfast and reading. He heard her footsteps and looked up.

“Good morning Rebel.” She tried to keep her vision in focus long enough to get to the table and set down. “Nice to finally see you join us in this world.” Chase said finishing his breakfast. Natasha began to nibble at hers Chase got up and began to walk away. Seeing him leave she immediately got up and followed. He turned around quickly and she ran right into his metal armor. She screamed out it pain. “Rebel.” Chase said, fully annoyed. She whimpered in pain again. He tried to peel her hands off of her nose. “Rebel, let go so I can snap it back into place.” A snap echoed throughout the entire palace.

“My God, that hurts!” she yelled.

“Now go back and actually eat something.” Chase ordered.

“I'm actually not that hungry for some reason.” she stated.

He have her a hard glare. “Now.”

“Fine” she sighed in defeat. “Mother dearest.” she mutter once he was out of hearing range.

-Xiaolin Temple-

“Rai, just give it up.” Kimiko said while looking for a Shen Gong Wu.

“It's this way kids!” Dojo yelled pointing in a direction.

“No way. The is something way wrong with her. It's not going to leave me alone until I find out either!” Raimundo shouted while looking through trees. A fake puny evil laugh pierced the sky. Jack Spice came flying down with Wuya and Jackbots right behind.

“Oh joy.” Kimiko said sarcastically.

“I wanted to kick evils butt today.” Clay said digging out his Wu. Raimundo just stared off into space from lack of sleep and a 2 hard day's work.

“Raimundo, wake up!” Omi shouted. Raimundo continued to stare off. Seeing him dazed and confused a Jackbot went straight for him. Clay dove for the ground, and pulled Raimundo with him. The force of the ground was hard enough to bring him to.

“Don't fall asleep with your eyes open during a fight partner. You can get seriously hurt doing that.” Clay said.

“Hm, right. Got it.” Raimundo said groggily, and then passed out.
