Little plastic hearts surround me,
Desperate lies of love confound me,
Still, I wonder: have I found me,
Or is there no hope around me?

Still you lie, and still you tell me,
Pleading as though you can quell me,
Think that I won't see you, really,
But I do see: you don't love me.

I'm the only one who knows me,
I don't need you, I control me.
Still, I wonder: have I found me,
Or is there no hope around me?
