She's taking in the bittersweet taste of disregard
Lapping it up into her core
Learning her place
As you turn your back on her

She's gulping water to cool the burn of screams
Voice fading from overuse
That is not known
Cause you never take notice

She's sustaining from the plump turkey of hate
Of disloyalty and ignorance
Leaving her desolate
