infinity on pause

i have work in the morning;
another infinite bags to pack
another infinite machine screams,
another infinite fake smiles.

i should go to sleep, i should wake early.

(why can't i find my feet?
they are right there, passing me below
and yet...)

i will fall into sleep
but my dreams are long to follow.
