She walked

So slowly

And wanted

To know

What she left behind

And where she ought to go.

She walked

So slowly

Didn't want to leave it

All behind

But there's so much

That's good

About new beginnings.

Right?

My hand's

Left empty

As she

Slips into the water

And she promises me

That she will be fine

"If you worry about me

Just look up into the sky

And see,

That I'm alright

Without

You and me."

I've cried for seven days now

But I still wish her luck

On the journey that she left me for,

But still,

I wish her luck.

She says that it's going quite well

But I hear the tears on her face

And I hope

That she misses me

As much as I do her.

She started

A new life

A new beginning

For her

But why couldn't I

Share that

Too.

She has a new life now

And I wish I was

A part of it

But she had a new beginning

And that's all

I know

That's all

I know.

That,

And that I'm not

Included.
