Arguments On A Wall

There's a wall at my school
A stand-in during construction
Yet it is totally filled
With sincere lamentations

Opinions on War
Poverty
Death
And Justice

In one little corner
A discussion is blooming
The speakers anonymous
Their names and faces unknown

Yet the words are heartfelt
Sometimes angry
Often passionate
But always sincere
It's amazing how much a mere Sharpie can do

One day I walked by it
And saw, just below
A simple statement that shook me to my soul

"I can't believe you're having this argument on a wall"
