It’s hard to let go

It hurts to hang on

Alone with the mem’ry of you

I cannot move on

I cannot hang back

It’s not quite the same without you

I remember your voice as you laugh

I still see you running today

I’m eaten alive by what I never said

Now you can hear me, I hear you laugh

You promise, “I’ll see you someday”

I won’t forget you

And yet I forget

I’m losing my mem’ries of you

I still search the crowd

Though you have moved on

As my life goes on without you

I remember your face when you smile

The same even when you were mean

Though eaten alive by the doubts in my head

I know you love me, because you smile

Well, brother, I’ll love you between

Till I see you again
