She fell asleep on me

Out in the back yard

Her hair dripping over my face

What a strange place

Clock ringing side to side

Strikes a number I can’t see

Her eyes are drifting everywhere

She just stares

Piano hitting some keys

Why oh why

She just sings along

Not knowing any words at all

Laura

Laura

Don’t you know I adore ya?

Laura

Oh, oh, Laura

But enough is enough

Doo, doo, doo,

doo, doo, doo, doo, doo

Tells me a story

About something that happened

I block her out

She gives me a shout

Locks herself in a room

I couldn’t care less

After all she is annoying

I’m sure she’s just toying

Laura

Laura

Don’t you know I adore ya?

Laura

Laura

But enough is enough

Doo, doo, doo,

Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo

So I give her a ring

She begins to cry

Not knowing what to do

So I say I love you

We both embrace

Together in arms

Why did I say such a thing?

God hear her sing

Laura

Laura

Don’t you know I adore ya?

Laura

Laura

But enough is enough

Hear the wedding bells

They sound for me

Death is after my soul

I can hear the bells toll

Bring on swift death

I want it now

Quick and pain-less

That would be the best

Laura

Laura

Don’t you know I adore ya?

Laura

Laura

But enough is enough

Blood drips on the floor

She is over in the corner

What have I done?

She is now gone…

Sirens ringing outside

I’m on the run

If I truly think

Her death made my heart sink

Laura

Laura

Don’t you know I adore ya?

Laura

Laura

But enough sweet-heart is enough

Here I am in hell

They decided to kill me

She is up above

But she has no more love

For me….for me

Why didn’t I see?

What’s wrong with me?

I will never be free

All because of

Laura

Laura

Don’t you know I adore ya?

Laura

Laura

But enough is enough

Laura

Laura

I guess I really did love ya
