We have a natural tendency
To leave when life demands it
We leave to come and come to leave
We hate to go, we say as much
But we love to come
And as natural tendency demands
We leave when life demands it
So I'm leaving you now
With a sincere sentiment
It was a nice run
Your friendship was appreciated
I love you
I loved you
Past tense is hard to use
But we leave to come and come to leave
This is a new verse
A new chapter
A new paragraph
It'll affect me more than it'll affect you
Because you are the leaves and I am the tea
And in the end we must separate
Because it isn't meant to be
You're gone and I'm still here
I'm gone but you're still here
Parallels don't touch
They go their own way
Away from each other
Opposite attracts and similar repels
We leave to come and come to leave
We have a natural tendency
We hate to leave but love to come
