How could she? How could some one so perfect do some thing so horrible? For years she had admired her older sister, all of the wonderful missions she had completed for the government. “A brilliant model that one,” her instructors would say “sure cloning material.” She had aspired to be like her, the brilliant 9900368, her very own sister! Not now, never now, her sister betrayed the government.

It was over a simple mission, to kill Luke Rennon, 13 year old son of a wealthy businessman who rightly suspected the government to be dabbling in the illegal business of Cloning and Gene Manipulation. Any of the third generation G.M.B.’s could have done it. Even I could have done it. So… why didn’t she do it? That was what bothered her the most, it was so simple, and yet, she couldn’t quite seem to grasp it. 9900368 never did anything with out a reason, but she had refused to kill the boy; she had even taken measures to make sure that the boy couldn’t be killed. Yes, she was defiantly missing something here… but what?

“Whenever you don’t know something, gather the facts and put them together piece by piece.” That was what she had been told her whole life, so that was what she needed to do, find the facts piece them together, read her sisters story like a book.

This is what I shall do, I shall put all of my findings down in writing so that the next generation can learn from our mistakes, their faults can be corrected, it is to late for us, our blood has been spilt… we all shall die now.

It is only a matter of time…

She got up from her desk satisfied, she would figure her sister out, even if it was the last thing she did. She, the last of the third would find the cause for their deaths.
