So easy to speak
A single question
One answer, no repeats

So afraid
From your lips will fall
An answer I don’t want
So I put up my defense walls

Silence, smiles
No questions asked
You leave … I wonder
Will you be coming back?

Did I miss my chance?
I threw it all away
Simply because
I feared what you would say
