Ok sorry about the wait, been busy. I was sick, on top of work and bottle feeding eight puppies has me drained. I am gonna try to update alot quicker. Tell me what you think of this chapter.

After four hours and a box and a half of tissue, I finally walked out of Jennifer's room. Dustin showed up and

now they are talking. I told her about how I went and talked to Dustin, and what he said. After a while she

stopped crying and began to think about it more reasonable. Jennifer told me how she couldn't stay mad at

Dustin because it wasn't his fault. I agreed with her, that she knows Dustin and trusts him. When Dustin got

there I stayed for a couple minutes to make sure they were gonna be ok. Jennifer seen him and jumped into his

arms. After 'sorry's' and promises that it never happened they kissed and I made my exit. Walking up to my

room, I grabbed some clothes and jumped in the shower. After I used up all the hot water I got out and put on

some pajama pants and a tank top. Humming to myself I walked back into my room a plopped on my bed.

Closing my eyes preparing to be lost in sleep I was interrupted by my phone ringing.

"Just great." I said getting up. I flipped it open not bothering to look at the id.

"Hello." I said laying back on my bed.

"Well hey there cutie." Devan said to me.

Hearing this I shot up straight in my bed.

"How did you get my phone number?" I asked him.

"Well geez hello to you too." I heard him say, "I went through a lot to get this number."

"Well loose it because I dont wanna talk to you." I told him irritated.

"Theres that meanness again." I could almost see him rolling his eyes.

"Yeah, what of it?"

"Chill dont get your panties twisted." He chuckled, "I was just calling to talk to you for a minute."

"Well hurry up because now you have 56 seconds." I told him laying back down.

He laughed, "Yup you sure are something. Look I'm not sorry about what I did earlier, and I wanted you to

know that." I pondered the thought, and before I could say anything he continued. "I actually would like to do it again sometime."

"Yeah maybe when the sky is purple." I scoffed.

"Come on cutie it wasn't so bad. You liked it too." Devan said arrogantly.

"I never admitted to liking anything. If you remember right I told you to stay away from me."

"Well now that's not going to happen, your stuck with me."

I laughed outright. "Look if this is all you wanted to talk about you could have saved it because I'm not

interested." I was tired of talking to him.

"It sure didn't seem like it when you kissed me back." I heard him mumble.

"Yes well a lot of things aren't what they seem." I told him and hung up the phone.

I set my phone on my nightstand and layed back down. Closing my eyes I thought of earlier at Josh's house. I

did not expect Devan to kiss me. Even though I did like it, I dont want it to happen again. I have never been in

an actual relationship and I dont really wanna get in one. Dont get me wrong its not that I dont want too its

just I never wanted too. I've had plenty of requests and opportunities but never really got comfortable.

Thinking back to Devan, he could be so irritating at times. But he kisses like a god. I smiled as I thought more

about him. After a while I fell asleep. When I woke up it was eight thirty two in the morning. Always being an

early riser, I got up and got dressed. I walked downstairs after grabbing my phone and Ipod. Walking into the

kitchen I saw that nobody was awake yet. I decided to grab some breakfast and when I opened the door I saw a

note on the fridge.

'Vivian, Just wanted to let you know that there are going to be a couple people coming over later, so make yourself scarce. Maria'

I scoffed, a party even though we got preached at not to have one. Just wonderful. Screw making breakfast I'm

going out. Grabbing my keys off the table I headed out to my car. Twenty minutes later I was walking up

Patricks porch, with McDonald's breakfast in tow. I used my key and let myself inside, and made my way up to

his room. Just as I thought he was in bed sleeping. I sat down and set the bag next to his head. After a minute

or so he spoke, with his eyes still closed.

"Your so sweet, Viv bringing me breakfast."

I laughed, "Yeah so I've heard." I told him and grabbed the bag before he could snatch it.

"If you want it then you gotta get outta bed, I'll be downstairs." I smiled as he opened his eyes and glared at

me. Fifteen minutes later Patrick walked downstairs with wet hair and some shorts on.

"Well the dead IS alive." I said eating my breakfast bagel.

"Oh hush.. food woman." He plopped on the couch next to me and grabbed the bag. We were silent as we ate

our food. When we were finished Patrick took the trash into the kitchen to throw away. He grabbed a cola out

of the fridge and handed me one. We sat down at the kitchen table.

"So how is Jennifer doing. Maria told me last night when I called. She said that you had already gone to bed." Patrick explained.

"Good I guess. Her and Dustin made up." I shook my head.

"I thought it was alot worse than what it turned out to be." Patrick nodded and changed the subject.

"So when are you gonna tell me about it?" Patrick said more as a statement than a question. I looked at him confused.

"Tell you about what?"

"Dont play dumb. I heard about your little kiss that you had with Devan." My cheeks flushed.

He waited for me to confess.

"How did you know?" I asked him figuring its no use lying to him.

"He called me wanting your number and I wouldn't give it to him. That was until he told me about the kiss.

Then I figured it would be funny to hear about you chewing him a new asshole." Patrick smirked.

"It was YOU!" I basically yelled at him.

He nodded his smirk getting bigger.

"Oh I'm gonna kill you." I told him standing up.

"Hey now dont go getting all het up." Patrick put his hands up in surrender. "If I didn't tell him then he would have gotten it from someone else."

I thought about that for a minute. It was true of course but I didn't want to admit it.

"Look whatever he told you was a lie. Yes he kissed me, and I dont know what to do about it." I put my head in my hands and sat back down.

"He said that you kissed him back." I looked up at Patrick and he was studying his cola can.

"Look, I dont want to do it again ok. I dont need to be getting involved with him." I tried to explain what was

going through my head. "Hell I dont even know why I kissed him back. Once he kissed me it was like my mind left my body or something."

"Yeah I can understand that." Patrick locked eyes with me. "Just whatever you do, be careful. I dont want to see you get hurt."

I didn't know what to say to that so it was my turn to change the subject.

"Aren't you supposed to be at practice in like fifteen minutes." I asked looking at my watch.

"Shit." He jumped up from the table and ran upstairs to get ready. I ended up driving him to practice. While he

walked onto the field, I got out my Ipod and sat on the bleachers. I listened to my music and watched the

players start their prewarm ups. A half hour later I got tired of sitting and went to my car. I got in the trunk

and pulled out my spare running clothes. I scanned the lot to make sure nobody was looking and I climbed in

my backseat. The windows were tinted so you couldn't see inside. After throwing on my shorts and a tank top,

I climbed back out. I headed to the track next to the football field. After checking to make sure the players

were still practicing I started doing laps. I turned up my music really loud and it drowned out all my thoughts.

After four laps of steady running, I slowed down when I seen a shadow behind me. I stopped and was knocked

to the ground as a unknown person fell on top of me.

"Umph." Was all the person and I could say. At least that's what I thought it said because my music was up so

loud. I managed to yank out one of my earphones and yelled.

"Get the hell off of me." I couldn't see because the sun was in my eyes. The heavy person, who I could tell was a male lifted himself off of me and laughed.

"Well cutie I thought you could hear me but I didn't see you were listening to music." Devan rested on his

elbows while the rest of his body was flush against me.

"We seem to be getting a lot of close contact with each other, huh?" He smirked.

"If you dont get off of me right this moment your gonna be sorry." I said through gritted teeth.

"Well I kinda like this situation." he smirked again. "It gives us a chance to talk."

I rolled my eyes and struggled to get him off of me.

"Now you have to talk to me about that kiss."

"I don't have to do anything but this.." I said and kneed him right between his legs.

He grunted and bent down but didn't get off of me. I looked at his face and it was beat red and he was trying to

catch his breath.

"Now that was SO not nice. What the hell!?"

"Well you were supposed to get OFF of me when I did that." I told him trying to push him off of me.

He didn't budge. His breathing was harsh and he managed out a squeak as I shifted again.

"Would you stop moving! I'm in pain here!" He basically yelled.

"Well get the hell off of me." I yelled back into his ear.

Instead of getting off of me he grabbed my arms and pinned them over my head.

"No." Devan managed to say.

"We are gonna talk about that kiss even if it takes all night."

I stopped struggling and sighed. "Theres nothing to talk about."

He laughed, "Oh I think there is. Lets start with this.. did you like it?"

He locked eyes with me and I looked away. I could feel a blush coming on and I ignored him.

"I'll take that as a yes." I looked at him to see him with a smirk on his face.

"I did too, and I would like to do it again sometime."

I scoffed, "In your dreams." I heard him laugh and wished I hadn't taken my headphones off.

"Well since this feels like a dream.. how about now?" I looked at him with wide eyes as he chuckled. He bent

his head closer to me and I felt butterflies in my stomach. He kissed the corner of my mouth and then down

my jaw. My breath hitched and I tried to free my hands which he was still holding. I moaned into his ear as his

lips found my neck. I felt him chuckle against me, and that caused my breath to hitch.

"St..st..stop." I managed to say in a catchy voice.

I wanted him to kiss me and yet I wanted him to stop.

"What was that? Keep doing it? Ok." He joked and continued kissing my neck, working his way up to my jaw

again. I couldn't take the teasing he was doing to me.

"Oh my god." I said frustrated. "Just kiss me already."

"Well its about damn time." He said and kissed me hard on the lips. I felt his tongue on my lips and opened

my mouth for him. His tongue swept inside and he let go of my hands. Instantly my hands went to the back of

his head and shoulders. I pulled him into me more, if that was even possible. His hands ran down my sides and

rested on my hips. A moment later he broke the kiss and took a deep breath.

"Well that sure does explain alot." Devan said smirking.

I closed my eyes waiting for my breath to be even.

"Wow that was some show." I heard from a distance. We both looked over to see half of the football team

standing and watching us. Some random player yelled to us.

"Come on, dont stop now. It was just getting interesting."

I blushed and turned my head away.

"Get off of me."

Devan could hear the warning in my voice and got off of me. He offered his hand to help me up and I took it

and strode right past him. I avoided looking at the football players as I made my way back to my SUV. I heard

running feet behind me and kept going. Not bothering to look.

"Viv. Wait up." Patrick said as he caught up to me.

I slowed down but didn't stop walking.

"What the hell was that back there?" He pointed behind him.

"Your not stupid Patrick you know what that was." I said stopping at my car.

"Well yeah I know what it was. I just meant.. Why?" Patrick leaned against my car as I faced him. "I thought you didn't like him."

I looked over to the field and saw Devan running our way.

"I dont.. I mean I dont think I do." Sighing I turned and opened my car door.

"Do you need a ride?" I asked Patrick starting my SUV.

He shook his head, "No I'm gonna ride with the guys."

"Ok then I guess Ill talk to you later." I put my car in drive and Patrick stepped back. As I was pulling away I

seen Devan catch up to Patrick. He looked at me and watched me drive away. I headed for home listening to

my radio. Pulling into my driveway, I got out of the car and headed inside. It was quiet and I figured nobody

was home.

'Maybe Maria lied about having people over.' I silently prayed that was the case.

Walking into the kitchen I made my way to the fridge. After grabbing an apple and a water I turned around and

went up the stairs. Before I went into my room I stopped at the bathroom. The door was closed and not

thinking I pushed it open. What I saw made me drop the water and the apple...

Ok so that chapter was.. eh.. I am trying to slowly getting to the plot. Meanwhile I'm just giving you a taste of Vivians day to day. There will be ALOT happening in the next couple chapters. Please tell me what you think, good or bad. R&R N.D.
