Author's Note: Just a silly little rhyme I did for my creative writing class with the Stop the Press writing challenge in mind. On 'beginnings'...

A Lesson From Cinderella

Once upon a time,
No one really cares when,
I attempted this rhyme
With paper and pen

It started out slow
With a word here and there
And proceeded to grow
Without making me swear!

All it took was a phrase,
A storytime hook,
And I wrote in a daze
Easy as reading a book!

A bad beginning is a crime,
A good beginning your friend:
"Once upon a time"
Thus leads to "The end".
