Sam 1I, your friend and teacher Sam, Wielder of Earth, and disciple of Samson of Fire, Give unto you a record of all that occurred after the events of June 15th. This record, I assure you, is truthful and unbiased, And is only the absolute and dire facts of the matter. Following the decision made by the gathering of disciples, Gareth the Fire-Master, who was once the greatest of the Light's servants, Struck by his own fierce ego, Left the other followers of Seamus. From Boston, Gareth and his followers made their way north, And came to the region called Maine. Here also gathered Sylvia of Wood and her followers, Who included the mighty Zeke. On the border of Maine the two groups did encounter each other, And there stood off, for although Gareth's forces outnumbered those of Sylvia, He was wary of attacking his own former friends. And Sylvia spoke: "Gareth, though I shall allow you to pass peacefully, "You must vow to never return. "For your presence, it would seem, "Causes division and inequality amongst us." Gareth then grew angry, and with a mighty burst of flame hurled back Sylvia and the others, And with a single sweep slew Connor of Earth and wounded Sylvia. So Gareth and his minions passed, Leaving their former comrades to die. But what Gareth failed to realize was that Sylvia and her friend Zeke, Were masters of Earth, and thus healers. Soon both they and Thomas of Water, Sylvia's other follower, Were fit, and they grieved for the loss of Connor. But Gareth and his follows had already left, And fled to the region of Nova Scotia, Where they built their new base, which is called Gehenna.
Sam 2Now, in the city of Boston the followers of Seamus came together once again for a meeting. From the West came Harold of Lightning, From the South came Samson of Metal, And from the North came Sylvia of Wood, Gathered there by the call of Rebecca of Ice, Who had remained in the city. And Rebecca addressed the others thus: "Masters of Metal, Wood and Lightning, Fire, Water, Earth and Air, "I have gathered you here because of the threat of Gareth. "His minions are numerous—in fact, "He has convert dozens more in Canada, "Which he intends to use to destroy us? "The only solution is to unify. "Already has Sylvia tasted his fearsome glory, "An she knows how destructive he is. "Only my powers can defeat his, for I am the greatest Water-Master. "You must lend me a bit more of your strength to fight Gareth's evil." But we were all of us deceived—Rebecca's sweet words destroyed us, For she stole Samson's power over Earth, And Harold's power over Fire, Rendering them weak, and herself mighty. Yet before she could attain the Wood-wielding powers of Sylvia, A shout came forth from John of Water, a follower of Rebecca: "Stop! You are deceived! "Rebecca wants only the power to rule alongside Gareth "She desires him more than she desires our safety!" And Rebecca roared with rage, and struck out with devastation, And slew John on the spot. Rebecca then fled, and was followed by Milo of Water and Frederick of Air, Who remained loyal to her, perhaps out of fear or perhaps love, For Rebecca's beauty and power were unmatched.
Sam 3Now, following the betrayal of Rebecca, The remaining followers of the Light were cast into darkness. Harold had lost his Fire, and was thus again Harold of Air, And Samson was once again only Samson of Fire. So Sylvia was the only one, save for Rebecca, who's power was untouched. The true followers now numbered only ten, and they were: Harold, Trevor, and Katherine of Air, Zeke, Prudence, And Sam of Earth, Thomas of Water, Leah, And Samson of Fire, and Sylvia of Wood. And the remaining followers of Seamus voted, and chose to remain in waiting. Harold and his followers travelled once again to the West, Samson to the South, and Sylvia to the North, Which was closest to Gareth and Rebecca. While Samson and Sylvia continued to convert more followers in their own areas, Harold was secretly plotting with Rebecca. After Rebecca had stolen so much of his power, Harold was rendered so weak of will, That her dark spells had easily worked away at his mind, Until he was little more than her willing slave. Thus Harold did abandon his followers Trevor and Katherine, And fled East to Nova Scotia. There he joined with Rebecca, becoming her vassal. That which I have told you, all of it be true. Now, although our strength is puny in comparison with that of Gareth and Rebecca, We still continue to grow, To convert those who will fight against the corrupt and evil ones, Who claim to follow Seamus. For the ways of Seamus are nigh dead, And the servants of Gareth and Rebecca live in fear of their masters. So I bid you adieu, my students, my brothers and sisters, And take heed of my warning: "Beware of the ones who follow the twisted path."
