Shadows wrap around my being

forever daring those around me,

seeking a challenge.

Electric blue fire streaks within

my heart, my very soul,

and the shadows' intention becomes clear.

A purple aura lifts above my head

masking my face

from the fools who presume their authority.

Corrupted kii floats in rapid movements

and I start my motions

through the mixing mist of air.

One last spell to break through

this dark sky, this forbidding moon

tonight.

Waves of heat glide past the trees

past the river, and the streets

to me.

I am the night, I am the moon,

and the calamity

of the shadows.
