One foot and half a centimeter away
two thirds of a smile on his face
He writes the same way I do:
Blue pen resting on his ring finger
His right hand, I bet it's a bit soar from practice.

He looks like a jock, but looks a bit like a loner
I bet he wasn't hugged enough as a young boy.
I bet his daddy wanted the linebacker, varsity, perfect.
He seems like the type to please everyone who asks
Probably a bit awkward when girls kiss him.

Let's call him 63 since that's the number on his Jersey.
63 has probably gotten laid around 63 times
Then again I bet he hasn't loved any of them.
He has some sad eyes, a bit bluer than the ocean
but a bit lighter than the sky.
really odd colored, but I bet a submarine could sink in them.

He studies me like I study him, he's not stupid.
The blond on his head is mearly a masquerade
This isn't a staring contest but
just a curiosity killing the cat situation
He has a really quirky smile, like a little kid in a mudd pit.

He scribbles in his notebook a lot.
Deep down he probably wants to take an art class
rather than stampeding at other boys making daddy proud.
I bet he draws portraits of that one girl he had a thing for,
but he left the party with the Skank his guys hooked him up with
Just another good lay for the rank book.
He can't let his guard down.

He's popular. Everyone in class talks to him, I bet he hates it.
63 just likes his doodles and his notes in his notebook.
Sometimes he writes her love notes
but he never gives them to her
I wonder what made him so timid to live.

Daydreams are swimming behind the overly blue eyes
I bet behind them he's thinking of romance and escapes
And the period bell rings, he's off and dyinghis with
his lifes monotone escapades and lies.
