left to right:
frantic rhythm
slide of shapes broken by
a beat of too-short
lashes
.abrupt.

reflecting little
specks of light
shadowed by those lashes
the lights of my eyes
bounce off the lights in his,
(they capture more light
when they open wide)

uneasy silence-
nothing to say
screaming
in my thoughts
to make up for the
lack of sound
(scream)
