Proven fear

As the sun sets,
Shadows die,
And darkness conveys night.
Dark shapes fill your vision,
Full of peace and horror.
Take a match and light the way,
See the shadows flare to life.
Imagination runs wild,
As blurred contours rules your sight.

Do you see it?!
Do you see it?!

Black of darkness,
Grey of shadows,
White of light,

Do you hear it?!
Do you hear it?!

The rushing blood;
Pounding of your heart;
Creaking of bones,
And muscles,
The quicken footsteps of a frighten soul.

The full moon rise;
Shadows live,
Bringing illusions in the night.
Walk the path to the forest,
Hear the sounds of hooting owls.
Smell the scent of living earth.
Take in fragrances of the flowers.
Feel the stirring of the leaves,
Again the imagination stirs.

Know the truth,
Know the truth.

Black of darkness,
Grey of shadows,
White of light,

Tell me the truth,
Tell me the truth.

Do you fear what you see?
Do you fear what you hear?
Do you fear what you smell and feel?
Can you tell me what it is?
Can you prove that I was there?
