The Days of the Oh No's
I’ve never been known for being keen and observant but lately my obliviousness has reached even higher levels of ridiculousness. I guess that’s what happens when you find out someone’s trying to kill you.
“Are you sure?” I asked Sofia while we sat in European history class, waiting for the teacher to arrive. Natale was coming to school late since she had a doctor’s appointment.
Sofia nodded her head. “Yes, Jacks, Mrs. Bing died last week! How can you not remember?”
I tapped my chin impertinently. “Hmm, maybe I was being selfish and was too busy being concerned with almost getting killed?”
She raised a brow at me. “Don’t sass me.”
I rolled my eyes. “So are we getting a new teacher today? Or did I miss that too?”
Sofia shook her head. “No, he’s coming in today. Apparently he’s a cutie, says Madison anyway.”
“Madison thinks everyone’s cute,” I mumbled, slouching in my seat. I was sad Mrs. Bing passed away, well maybe not as much as I should be. I mean, the woman was a royal bitch so I was kind of glad she was gone. Wow…maybe I’ve been hanging out with the mafia for too long? They’re taking away my compassion!
Suddenly the classroom door opened and a young man walked in wearing a dorky brown suit and glasses. After he set his briefcase onto the desk he turned and wrote his name on the chalkboard.
“As you can see class, I am your new teacher, Mr. Hoffmann.” He turned around and I stiffened.
He looked familiar.
H was young, in his early twenties at least, and was tall and a little scraggly looking, but in an almost handsome way. His dark hair was girly and a complete mess. His eyes…well, I couldn’t really see his eyes too well with his glasses on and the light kind of glaring off them…
“I’m sorry to hear about your previous teacher Mrs. Bing,” he said, giving a dimpled smile that seemed to want to jog my memory but couldn’t quite get there. “I hope I can live up to your standards and we all can have a wonderful rest of the year together.” He took off his glasses to clean them with the edge of his sleeve. Suddenly our eyes connected and I gasped.
Shit!
I immediately dove under my desk, my chair falling back in my haste. Everyone turned in their seats to stare at me while I giggled nervously and slowly stood back up. “I, um, dropped my pencil and I wanted to get it before it got…dirty. You know the five second rule?”
“…it’s on your desk,” the girl next to me said. I turned to glare at her. Was she trying to get into the story or something? Seriously, she’s not important, how dare she ruin my plan to un-embarrasses myself!
“Maybe it’s a magical pencil,” Sofia drawled sarcastically from behind me.
I turned back towards the front of the room and grimaced when I met Mr. Hoffmann’s surprised gaze.
The rest of the forty minutes of class went by in a blur. I kept my head down and avoided Mr. Hoffmann’s eyes, nearly falling out of my chair in the process.
“What the hell was that?” Sofia asked as I rushed her out of the classroom as soon as the bell rang.
“Nothing,” I said as I dragged her down the hall.
She abruptly stopped and pulled her hand from mine, crossing her arms and giving me the ‘we promised no more secrets’ look.
“Fine!” I relented, throwing my hands in the air. “I know that guy.”
“Which guy?”
“Mr. Hoffmann! He used to be my neighbor but then he went to college and when he was a junior his family moved away so I never saw him again until today and I was…caught by surprise.”
“If he was your neighbor then what’s the big deal? It’s not like he’s an old boyfriend.” I grimaced. “Oh my god, he was an old boyfriend?”
“No!” I exclaimed. “Not…exactly…”
Sofia narrowed her eyes. “That what exactly was he?”
“I…well; I used to have this major crush on him when I was younger. You know, dreaming about marrying him, writing “Mr. Jacqueline Hoffmann” on my notebooks, planning out my wedding, yada yada yada.”
Sofia stared at me before bursting out into fits of laughter. I pouted and glared at her. “Sorry, Jacks, but…come on! Every girl, at one point, has had a crush on an older man and went a little crazy about it. I once photo shopped pictures of me and Leonardo DiCaprio and pretended it was our wedding album.”
I stared at her for a moment; trying not to laugh at how nerdy she was since I was pretty much in the same boat.
“I just don’t know why you acted so awkwardly,” Sofia continued. “After the whole hiding fiasco you kept your head bent and when he called on you for attendance you yelled “Here but I’m not her.” I know seeing an old crush is weird but that was years ago. And it’s not like Alphonso is going to get all jealous and freak out.” She paused, a devious gleam in her eyes. “Or maybe we can tell him he was more than a crush. How about you let me tell him you lost your virginity to this guy?”
“No!” I exclaimed.
“Please? It’ll make me really happy.”
I glared and continued walking. “Yeah well, I’d feel good if Alphonso was the one who took my virginity but that’s not happening anytime soon so why should I be the only unhappy one?”
“Haruka’s right,” Sofia said while catching up with me. “You really are too horny for your own good.”
I sighed, nodding while slouching my shoulders. Oh the sad story of my life.
I let out a content sigh as I snuggled closer to Alphonso. We were sitting in my living room watching The Labyrinth (Alphonso’s first time seeing it). My sigh turned into one of pleasure as Alphonso ran his hand through my hair, massaging my scalp.
“I don’t get it,” Alphonso said after awhile. “Why is she going through all this trouble to get her brother back? If it were me, I would have left the kid.”
I rolled my eyes. “Yeah, but what if that were Fedele or Fiorenza?”
“I would have paid the king to take them away.”
I pouted and sat up, giving him a glare. “Ok, what if it were me? And I better like your answer.”
He chuckled and pulled me into his laugh. “Why do I get the feeling that you wouldn’t mind being left with King Oldie?”
I slapped his chest. “He is not old! In this movie he’s like…well, older than Jennifer Connely but he looks so good in those pants…”
Alphonso shook his head in exasperation. “You have weird taste.”
“Which would explain me dating you.” He squeezed my butt and I yelped before smirking at him. I turned myself in his lap so I was straddling him. “You know, my mom is out shopping and Andre’s working late so we have the whole house to ourselves.” This time I ran my hands through his hair, tugging softly on the strands.
He raised a brow in amusement. “Oh yeah?” I nodded. “And what exactly are you suggesting.”
I pouted. “I’m not suggesting you break your stupid plan to go slow,” I trailed my hands from his hair to his neck, rubbing the sensitive spot I knew drove him crazy, “but I did really miss you today…”
He groaned, his head falling back onto the back cushions of the couch. “Do you really want to chance your mom or Clement walking in?”
I rolled my eyes. “Clement is a big baby and hardly ever comes home before dinner anymore and my mom…well my mom would be happy that I’m getting some action.”
“Oh really?”
“Yes really,” I whined impatiently. “Now are you going to kiss me or not?”
He chuckled before pulling my head down to his, our lips brushing slightly. I was about to deepen it when my mom came barging through the door, shopping bags in both hands.
“Oh hey kids,” she said when she spotted us, setting the bags on the floor. She cringed. “Did I interrupt something?”
“Not really,” I said, my discontent showing while Alphonso lifted me off his lap.
“Sorry, doll,” My mom said, patting my head. “I have news that is sure to cheer you up, though.”
“Yeah?” I asked, hardly believing anything she told me could make up for that fact that she ruined my chance of getting any hanky panky…Wow, I do sound like a guy.
My mother nodded her head. “Guess who I ran into at the mall?”
“I have no idea.”
“Adam Hoffmann!”
I stiffened. Oh no. “Um…w-who?”
“Oh you know, honey, the boy you used to be so besotted with.” She turned toward Alphonso with a goofy grin on her face. “Jackie used to have fake wedding with her stuffed animals and she would always pretend the groom was Adam! It was so adorable. Sometime she would hold her breath until he gave her a kiss on the cheek. Once-”
“I’m sure Alphonso doesn’t want to hear this, mom.” I giggled nervously. I personally didn’t want him to hear anymore either.
“Oh but, darling, you were so cute back then! Oh! I have pictures!” She ran out of the room to get what I can only assume to be albums full of embarrassing pictures of a love struck toddler.
“Hold your breath, huh?” Alphonso asked, raising a brow at me.
My shoulders slumped. “You know…I don’t really remember anythi-”
“Here we are,” my mother exclaimed as she barged back into the room, photo album in hand. She situated herself between Alphonso and I (she almost shoved me off the couch) and opened the album. She pointed to a picture in the far left corner on the left page. “This is Jackie’s 8th birthday. See that boy she’s practically attached to? That’s Adam.”
“Well, thanks for sharing mom,” I said while standing up. I grabbed Alphonso’s hand and tried pulling him away. “But we really have to be going.”
My mother laughed and pointed to another picture, changing the albums angle so Alphonso could have a better look. “This is the first time Adam kissed Jackie’s lips. It was only for a second, hardly a kiss if you ask me, but after that she refused to brush her teeth for two days and would wear that dress almost everyday, hoping to get another kiss.”
“Isn’t that…sweet.” Alphonso said tightly, his jaw stiff.
Double oh no. I sat back down. “Mom, really, there’s no need to tell Alphonso any of this.”
She laughed again, lightly hitting Alphonso’s arm. “Oh honey, I’m sure he’s fine. I mean it’s not like you were engaged to Adam, although until you were twelve that was your ultimate goal. Alphonso has nothing to worry about. Besides Adam says he’s your history teacher now. He was very excited to see you again.”
Alphonso stiffened even more and I mentally whacked myself with a baseball bat. “Alright, time to-”
“By the way,” My mother began, closing the photo album. “I invited Adam to dinner tomorrow night.” She turned toward Alphonso. “You should come as well. It’ll be a big family dinner. My mother is even coming and she tells me she absolutely adores you. Although she loves anything with a dick…”
I sighed. “I’m sure Alphonso has better things to do mom.”
“I’d love to come,” Alphonso said, giving my mother a smile. “What time should I be here?”
“Oh whenever you want. I’m sure Jackie wants to have you to herself for a while before the dinner.” She winked at me before standing up. “Now I have to put these new clothes away before Andre sees the bags. I have a little surprise in there for him.” She giggled like a school girl and I think I died a little inside.
Alphonso and I were left in the living room, an awkward silence consuming us. Why does my mom ruin everything?
“So…held your breath, huh?” Alphonso finally said, leaning back on the couch and crossing his arms.
I grimaced. “I only did it once or twice… You’re not actually mad about this are you?”
Alphonso scoffed. “Why would I be mad?”
Good question. “Um…no reason…” I bit my lip. “You’re not…jealous?”
He scoffed again, this time more forcefully. “Why should I be jealous?”
“…Again, no reason. Are you…crazy?”
“…What?”
“You’d have to be if you actually think it’s a good idea for you to come to dinner as my boyfriend when the Chief of police, who is going to be my step-father, will be there.”
He rolled his eyes and ruffled my hair slightly. “Trust me, babe, it’ll be fine. So… h-how many kisses did he give you?”
I scrunched my face. “I don’t know, it was so long ago.” I grabbed his hand and traced it softly. “What I felt was Adam was just a schoolgirl crush. He was the older boy-next-door.” I pouted. “I didn’t like him as much as I like you.”
Alphonso rolled his eyes before a small smiled appeared on his face. He brushed a strand of my hair behind my ear. “Do you have pretend weddings for us?”
“No!” I exclaimed. I’m never going to live this down am I? “And I still don’t think you should come tomorrow. It’s bad enough Clement will be there but if Andre finds out you’re my boyfriend there’ll be even more problems!”
“What makes you think he doesn’t already know?” Alphonso inquired, causing me to do a double take. “I’m sure your mom felt the need to tell her fiancée who her daughter is dating.”
“I-I never really thought about that…” I admitted.
He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me back into his lap. “Trust me, everything will be alright, ok?”
I nodded my head. But for some reason the anxiety I felt for tomorrow night did not go away.
The next day, the pain in the pit of my stomach was still there.
“Come on, sweetie,” my father’s soothing voice comforted me over the phone. “I’m sure it won’t be that bad.”
“Grandma’s going to be there,” I replied.
“Yikes.”
“Yeah. Not to mention Clement, who hates Alphonso with his whole being. Adam is going to be there as well, the boy I used to be so in love with I imagined getting a tattoo of his name on my arm. This night is going to be a disaster.”
“You know your mother; she’s not going to let Clement act horribly to Alphonso. And Adam was hundreds of years ago, doll, I’m sure he’s forgotten all about your obsession. You have nothing to worry about. Just make yourself even more beautiful than you already are and have fun. But don’t be too beautiful. I’m still not sure about this Alphonso kid.”
“Ok, first of, I was not obsessed with him, I was…infatuated. Second, Alphonso is a great guy and I’m sure once you’re able to get to know him you’ll love him.”
“Jackie!” I heard my mom call from downstairs. “You better be getting ready, everyone will be here in half an hour, Andre’s gone to go pick Grandma up and Clement just called to say he’s on his way home from the library.!”
I sighed and glanced at the dress laying on my bed. “Well, I better get going dad. Mom’s about to blow a gasket.”
My dad chuckled and I grinned at the sound. “Alright kiddo. Now remember, relax; everything will be fine. I love you baby-girl.”
“I love you too dad.” I hung up the phone and groaned. I wonder if I could fake illness. Nah, my mom would force me to this dinner even if I was bleeding through my eyes.
I quickly changed into the blue mini dress my father bought for me last year and trudged downstairs and into the kitchen where I found my mom rushing about trying to get everything ready in time.
“Do you need help mom?” I asked, dismayed that she was doing so much herself.
“Yes, I need you to not touch anything. You know how you are in the kitchen, darling, all thumbs,” she replied while stirring the pasta sauce. The doorbell rang and my mother grimaced. “Could you get that honey?” I nodded my head and went to answer the door, but not before hearing my mother mumble “please don’t let that be her” and I could only assume she meant my grandmother.
I opened the front door and knew immediately my mother was going to be disappointed. There stood my grandmother, in all her green polyester glory.
“Don’t just stand there girl, move aside,” she snapped before pushing me out of the way and storming into the living room. A few seconds later Andre walked through the door as well, a remorseful expression on his face.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered when he walked past me. “She’s mush faster than other older women and get to the door before I even parked the damn car.”
I nodded my head, completely understanding.
“Where are the boys?” my grandmother demanded while looking around the living room.
“They should be here any minute, mom,” my mother called from the kitchen. It was easy to hear the strain in her voice and Andre immediately went into the kitchen to see if he would be of any help.
“So, you and the Venturi boy have sex yet?” my grandmother asked, sitting down on the sofa.
“No grandma,” I replied in a bland voice.
“You better hurry it up girl, that’s the only way to keep a man interested. Maybe I should teach you some of my moves…”
I was saved from a very embarrassing conversation when the door opened and slammed. I turned to see Clement walking through the entrance way.
“I’m home!” he called, hanging his jacket up in the closet.
“Hey,” I said, I stiffened when the door opened again and in walked Natale and Sofia. “What are you two doing here?”
Natale frowned. “We’re here for dinner. Clement invited us.”
I turned to my soon-to-be-brother and glared. “Why?”
“Well, since you’re having Alphonso over your mom thought it would be a good idea for me to bring a friend. When I said I wanted to bring one of the twins she thought it would be rude to invite only one so she had me invite both,” he explained, seeming to be very proud of himself.
“Don’t worry Jacks,” Sofia said while putting her arm around my shoulder. “We promise to be on our best behavior, right Nat?”
Natale nodded in agreement. “Now, where’s the hunky teacher?” she demanded.
“That’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for too, sweetheart,” my grandmother said from his position on the sofa.
The door bell rang again and I begrudgingly went to go open it. What I saw broke my heart even more than seeing my grandmother. Alphonso and Adam stood awkwardly next to each other having arrived at the same time.
Triple oh no.
“Jackie-Jack!” Adam exclaimed when he saw me, a huge grin on his face. I let out a surprised gasp when I was suddenly lifted into his arms and spun around. “You’ve grown so much, kiddo!” He set me down on the ground and kissed me on the cheek. “I’ve missed those adorable eyes of yours.”
I giggled but stopped immediately when I caught Alphonso’s glare. Adam walked past me and into the living room where I could hear my mother’s excited squeal.
Alphonso raised a brow. “Adorable eyes?”
“…well they are…” I grumbled, pouting slightly. I grabbed Alphonso’s hand and pulled him into the house and closed the front door. “You sure this is okay?” I asked, speaking of both Adam and Andre.
Alphonso rolled his eyes and gave me a quick kiss on the lips before making his way into the living room.
I sighed. This was going to be a long night.
Oddly enough Andre showed no emotion when he was introduced to Alphonso, other than shaking his hand warmly and offering to get him something to drink. This had me even more confused than before. There were three children of the mob in the house and the chief of police made nothing of it. Was that normal? I mean, aren’t they supposed to be enemies or something?
But there were no fights or arguments. Instead everyone behaved rather polite to each other, even Clement, and we were all sitting around the dinner table sitting quietly.
Mother and Andre sat at the heads of the table, throwing loving glances at each other once and a while. I sat awkwardly between Alphonso and Adam and across from us was my grandmother, Clement, Sofia, and Natale squished together.
“Did you know I used to want to be a nun,” my grandmother stated, breaking the silence. My mother and I rolled our eyes woefully. “That is, until I turned sixteen.”
“What happened at sixteen?” Clement asked and I shot him a look.
“Jackie’s grandfather put his hand up my skirt,” my grandmother replied.
“…so?” Natale said.
“So? I felt soiled, filthy, and dirty; you know, in love.”
“Now mom, you know that’s not true. You got that off an episode of Golden Girls,” my mother said, rubbing her noise in aggravation.
My grandmother scowled. “So what? I’m old; I’m supposed to be colorful.”
My mother rolled her eyes and then smiled at Adam. “So Adam, tell us about yourself. We haven’t seen you in ages! How are your parents?”
Adam smiled as well. “They’re great. They just bought a bungalow in Paris and are moving there in about a month or so.”
“Really?” I asked, interested. “I love Paris! Are they going visit Versailles? It’s absolutely beautiful! Of course they’re going to Les Invalides, that’s where Napoleon is buried oh and-”
“Jackie, I’m sure Adam’s parents are going to everything, they are, after all, going to be living there,” my mother said, smiling. “Tell them we wish them luck, Adam.”
“I will,” he responded, smiling even larger now. He turned toward me. “A friend of the French I see.”
“Oui, j'adore la France.”
“Not as much as she loves Italy, though,” Natale said, giving a sly smile. “She especially loves the meat there.”
…I think there’s an innuendo there, but I’m not quiet sure.
Alphonso chuckled slightly before pacing a hand on my knee and squeezing it gently.
“Your mother was telling me you want to major in foreign affairs,” Adam continued. “That’s a good choice; the other teachers were saying how well you were with languages.”
I giggled again. “Thank you.” I stiffened slightly when I felt a foot suddenly caress my calf. What in the wor- Oh. I finally noticed the look Natale was giving Adam and I rolled my eyes. “Natale!” She jumped slightly before turning her gaze to me. “That’s my foot,” I mouthed to her, not wanting to say it out load. She blushed and the foot disappeared, much to my relief.
“So Alphonso,” Andre finally spoke. “How long have you and Jackie been seeing each other?”
“About three months,” Alphonso replied, rubbing my knee gently.
“I would love to meet your parents,” my mother stated, taking a bite of her spaghetti. “Maybe we should have them over for dinner.”
“I don’t thin-” I began but stopped when Alphonso squeezed my knee again.
“I’m sure they’d love that,” Alphonso instead replied and I mentally grimaced.
“What’s with all this meeting parents crap?” my grandmother asked. “In my day the boy never met the parents until the day he asked the father to marry the girl he knocked up. That’s how my husband and I did it.”
“Another Golden Girls story?” Sofia asked.
“No, that one’s true,” my mother replied, taking a sip of her wine.
“You bet your almost natural looking bosoms it’s true,” my grandmother snapped. She turned her eyes to me and Alphonso and me. “So, Jackie tells me you two haven’t had sex yet.”
A thousand times oh no.
“Mother!” my mom snapped. “That’s hardly dinner-table talk.” At least my mother had some manners.
“What do you mean not dinner-table talk? Your father and I used to talk about sex the time at the dinner-table. I taught you kids when to realize to leave the house for a few hours.”
“So Mr. Hoffmann,” Natale interrupted, obviously knowing that everyone was getting a little uncomfortable. “How old are you, exactly.”
“Natale!” Sofia snapped under her breath.
Adam only laughed. “It’s alright. I know I look fairly young to be a teacher. I’m 22, I graduated college a little early and I have very good connections, which helped me get the position in Winchester Private.”
“Uh huh,” Natale said, slightly uninterested. “So do you have a girlfriend?”
My eyes widened and Sofia nudged Natale in the ribs.
But once again, Adam only laughed, obviously not taking Natale seriously. “No, I just moved here and I think I’m a little to busy to really have a personal life at the moment.”
Natale opened her mouth to say something else but Sofia quickly beat her too it. “So Miss. Moreau, when’s the wedding going to be?”
Andre and my mother smiled. “Well, we don’t have a set date yet, but we’re hoping for sometime in June, after the school year ends.”
“Any plans for the honeymoon?” Natale asked wiggling her eyebrows jokingly.
Andre chuckled. “No not yet.”
“I vote Hawaii. I’ve always loved Hawaii; so romantic.”
“We’ll see.”
We all fell back into silence, not knowing what else to say.
“…what was that?” Sofia suddenly asked, looking around.
“That was me,” my grandmother said, glaring at Sofia. “And thank you for bringing that to everyone’s attention.”
We all pushed our chairs away from the table.
The evening went on without any squabbles. After dinner we all sat in the living room drinking hot chocolate and eating desert of various kinds. A little while after that Andre left to take grandmother home and Adam soon followed. Mother went into the kitchen and Clement went to his room with Natale and Sofia so I decided to take Alphonso up to mine.
“So,” I said as we sat on my bed. “That went…swimmingly.”
Alphonso nodded.
“So…about Andre, why was he not angry or hostile towards you?”
Alphonso sighed and rolled onto his back, his arm covering his eyes. “That’s a conversation best left till late, Jackie.”
I frowned. “No, I want to know now!” I demanded. I let out a squeal when he suddenly pulled me down next to him and into his embrace.
“Please don’t make me tell you,” he whispered into my hair. “I like that you’re naive. I don’t want you to look at the world any differently than you do now.” He sounded as if he were in actual pain; as if the thought of telling me was literally killing him. I knew that I had to know the truth and that it wasn’t fair to keep me in the dark about so many things, but I didn’t want to force him to tell me when he wasn’t ready.
“You can tell me later,” I soothed, hoping that I wouldn’t regret my decision later. I nestled closer to him, trying to show how much I trusted him. “Just promise me that you will.”
“I promise,” he said softly, brushing my hair away from my face and smiling down at me. “You look beautiful tonight.”
Smooth move, Alphonso. I knew he was trying to change the subject and it was probably best that I let him. “Thank you. Not too beautiful I hope, my father still deems you unworthy.”
He chuckled and kissed my neck tenderly. “You’ll always be the most beautiful thing in my eyes.”
“I better be,” I responded, pinching his side softly.
He chuckled before rolling my under him. He stared down at me with such emotion that I stopped breathing for a moment. Was it possible to love someone so ardently and so wholly while only knowing him for such short while and knowing so little about him? The truth of my feelings scared me so much I suddenly felt the need to push him away and run. He must have seen my fear and his lips suddenly slammed onto mine.
It was so different from the others. Now that I’ve finally admitted to myself that I loved this mysterious, dangerous boy every feeling, every touch was more intense.
His lips moved over mine, as if trying to steal not only my breath but my soul as well. His hands moved under me to rub my back while mine moved to his hair, pulling him closer, bidding him to keep me in his embrace forever; to never let my go no matter how much I feared these emotions.
He unzipped my dress, shifting about me slightly so he could pull it over my head. He flung it to the floor and was on my again. My fingers fumbled with the buttons of his dress shirt but soon enough it was off. His lips moved from mine to my jaw, my neck, and to the valley of my breasts. I spread my legs so he could settle himself between them and gasped at the sensation, warmth pooled in my lower abdomen. I ran my hands up and down his back, loving the feel of his smooth skin.
I cupped his face in my hands and brought his lips back to mine before moving to scatted kisses over his jaw and neck. He groaned and I smiled slightly and let out a laugh when he rolled us over so I was on top. I peppered kisses on his face before moving to lick and nibble on his Adam apple. Lower I went ravishing his collarbone, wanting to mark him as mine. He hissed in pleasure and my smile grew, loving the power I had over him.
Alphonso let out a growl before rolling us over again, pinning my hands above my head. He silenced my protests with a rough kiss. The warm pool in my abdomen grew when he started to slowing move against me, with just my panties and his pants as barriers, and I let out a strangled half-moan, neck arching, allowing him to suckle at the skin again. “Mine,” he whispered hoarsely between each kiss. “Mine, mine, mine.” And I found myself totally agreeing.
His hips started to move faster, creating an unholy friction. I’d never felt so a wonderful feeling in the world. The romance novels my mother had given me had nothing on the intense feelings Alphonso was wracking on my body. My legs wrapped around his waist, pulling him even closer to me. He let out a low moan and bit my neck softly before moving to grope and kiss my cloth covered breasts. His hands moved to my hips to pull me even closer. He suddenly too a nipple into his mouth and sucked.
That’s when I felt it. I was…falling and I suddenly didn’t know what to do. “Al-Alphonso,” I gasped, trying to get his attention, to get him to understand what was happening. “Som-mething’s-” I suddenly couldn’t even speak anymore.
“I know baby,” he soothed. “I got you, don’t worry.”
“B-But…”
“Look at me. Come on, baby, look at me!”
I did and something broke.
I suddenly couldn’t see or hear anything but my screaming, quickly silenced by Alphonso’s mouth, his tongue filling my moist cavern. I couldn’t stop myself from withering and shaking. I could hardly breathe much less wrap my mind around what just happened.
When my senses finally returned, my legs slowly fell from his waist and my head lolled to the side while I took deep breaths. Alphonso peppered kisses on my face, brushing my hair back to kiss my cheek tenderly.
“W-What?” I stuttered, not comprehending what had just happened and why I was suddenly so tired.
Alphonso chuckled softly. He gently lifted me up and pushed back the covers of my bed before settling me down into the silky cushions. He took out his phone and quickly text someone before turning his attention back to me. “Sleep, cara mia, sleep now.”
I slowly found myself starting to obey. Barely realizing when Sergio climbed through my window and hand Alphonso a pain of pants. Alphonso quickly changed and kissed the underside of my ear. “Addio, vero amore,” he whispered softly.
The last think I could coherently remember was the soft closing of the door.
Authors Note: Yes, I'm alive! I've just been so busy with school, I just got a new job, and I've been trying to maintain a social life so finding time to write is getting really hard but I'm trying. So I'll be working more hours now, but I'll try to update again soon. I hope you all liked this chapter. I tried not to have any raunchy-ness in this chapter but Alphonso would have none of that and he got Jackie to team up with him so I couldn't say no to the two of them (le sigh).
Also, someone commented on Alphonso and Jackie's relationship moving fast and I have to say "I know." Jackie and Alphonso are based off Romeo and Juliet and many other characters in the story are based off of other characters of Romeo and Juliet and other Shakespearan works. All I have to say is to stick with the story and you'll see how it all turns out and what happens with all the characters.
