Stop crying!

They yell at me as I shake and sniffle
Tears leaking like a dripping faucet

Stop shaking!

They scream as I nearly drop my pencil
Trying to hard to appear normal

Shut up!

They order as I whisper prays into the night
Hoping for relief from their words

Give up!

They demand of me as I cover my ears
Shaking my head to ignore them

You're weak!

They tell me while I cough and gag
From my own pitiful tears

You're a lie!

They remind me as I walk the streets
Trying to remember what I am

You're done!

They declare as I sit staring at the wall
Seeing only black as people walk past

You're ours!

They sing as I shudder a final breath
Giving into their calls
