The Last Shard of Sanity

She would run up the stairs,

in order to get home,

she's on a quest to sit

& cry,

to cry, in order,

to hold onto

her sanity.

A phone rings

she stops her crying,

and

with the last moment of her strength

she picks up the phone

& says "hello"
