Her Point of View

You feel shunned, so alone,
Unwanted and pushed away.
As much as you need her,
She never seems to stay.

Is her sincerity real,
Or does she not care?
You were such good friends,
The closest pair.

And you need her now,
As you begin to fall.
There is no time now,
To fix the wall.

You took the razor out,
And cut your skin.
You can’t really help it,
You don’t know where to begin.

You’re helpless without her,
Standing at your side.
You are desperate for the girl,
In who you used to confide.

She looks at you,
You catch her eye.
Both look away.
Is she really that shy?

She knows you better,
Than anyone alive.
You are not okay,
You can barely thrive.

Can she see how your tears,
Stain your porcelain face?
All you need from her,
Is just one embrace.

What you don’t see,
Are the cuts on her wrist.
One for every reason,
She is so pissed.

Pissed at herself,
For ignoring you.
Pissed at herself,
For being so cruel.

She swears to make it better,
It will all be okay.
But every time you fight,
This is what you say.
