Void eyes watched the city streets pass her by in a midst of lights

Standing alone in the rain

Feeling that no amount of pain

Could cure the vacancy in her mind

Nor the empty feeling that grasped her body every night

Keeping her company when all else failed miserably

This vacancy in her sight

This vacancy in her mind

This vacancy in her soul

Try as she might she could not fight

This Vacancy that refused to go

Choking her mind

This emptiness that held on so

Rendering her blind

The pain of her regret

That was now replaced

With such hollow emptiness

Such a void could not be cured

Standing on her ledge

This solution absolute

Speaking in volumes

The peace she would find

Once she could no longer feel

This vacancy in her mind
