Hmm. I actually meant for the last two lines to jar, don't know if I managed to pull that off well enough, though.

Night at a karaoke-bar

Uncomfortable

Singing, dancing,
Don't give up the day job, love,
(At least you won't be drunk, when push comes up to shove)

Flirting, romancing,
Toe the line that's straight as die,
(Unlike your sweetheart; he's less straight than a curly fry)

Laughter and imprudence,
Just go with the flow,
(Thank god they won't remember this when they wake up tomorrow)
