Chapter 6: Meant to Live

Fumbling his confidence and wondering why the world has passed him by

Fint lay in a shallow cave. He had just woken up from a troubled sleep.

He yawned, then trotted out of the cave into the light. He winced from the glare of the sun, which shone brightly after two days of fierce rain.

He lapped from the puddles on the ground, sighedm and started again on his journey.

He was, of course, ferian again, as it was daytime, ad he lnew that in less than three weeks he would once again become the horrible abomination that he had been born-- unless, of course, he hid.

Then again, he knew that, now that there were no other wolves to rebuke him, he would be relatively safe.

Still, he knew he was nothing less than a monster-- an infestation-- and there would nevere again be one who appreciated him.

Hoping that he's bent for more than arguments and failed attempts to fly...

He didn't know what to do. He didn't know what would ever become of him, or if anyone where he was going would not hate him for his mother's genes.

But it was the only thing he could do; the only place he could go.

Fint sobbed. He knew there had to be more than this. How was it that the whole world worked together to produce life, yet he had been born? He knew he must have a purpose.

We were meant to live for so much more...

And it was so much more than this.
