- Forgotten Flight -

-------------------------------------------------------

I am here now,

I must wonder so

why did I forever bow

to face that faitful blow?

Now I sit and stare,

at the people washing away a tear,

under the dim candle's flare

it strikes me; my worst fear.

And thus comes the dirt,

forever sealing away

the time I had left to flirt

with death in order to play -

- the proper game.

Thus the body is placed to rest,

no one is to blame,

as I meet my final resting nest.

I make this stand

and hold my head forever high

upon this forgotten land

I make my final fly.

I am forever alone,

though I am the one to flee,

I had spreed my wings and flown,

but now I must forever be.

Thus I am the forgotten flight

off to see the world through spirit eyes,

I continued to soar in the sky so bright

and saying my forgotten good-byes.
