The Seven Deadly Sins - Vanity

By Opposite Attraction

The polished glass witnessed the same features each and every day

The sun-kissed skin free from blemish or scar

The silky, flowing strands of magenta colored hair

The orbs of amethyst that sparkled like the finest gem when held to light

High set cheekbones brushed ever so lightly with iridescent dust

Those full rosy lips and small nose

Her form was flawless, possessing grand curves of all kinds; her limbs thin

With a bosom that was ample and to be admired

Child-bearing hips tapered to firm, narrow legs and petite feet

She was the image of true beauty, bewitchment, perfection

Admired by all, but secretly envied by some

Always, a mirror could be found in her delicate hand

She consistently examined herself from head to toe

Never tolerating a single hair out of place

Constantly keeping her cat-like nails neatly trimmed

Though she was viewed as a being that was carved by angels

It's a shame she possessed the soul of a devil
