Scared stiff,
You raise me up,
I stand at the tree top,
I fall.
You raise me up,
I scream to know why,
Your face is blank,
I fall.
You raise me up,
My friends watch,
Shocked as I fall,
You walk away.
I don't know how you told me,
Maybe I just knew,
Everything you were doing.
Beyond your control.
A dark master over us,
Would control our every moves,
I fled and hid.
You found me.
We cherished our shared time,
A couple we became,
Our time together was short,
We tried to make it last.
My greatest fear,
You didn't like me.
But our master couldn't control our hearts,
Just our bodies.
The master was cruel,
But he kept us alive,
He let us be close,
He alone knew we were close.
But our lips never met,
Even though our hearts pounded,
We hid our relationship from the world,
Just like we hid our master.
Until one day,
You kissed me,
Said goodbye,
Your touch was cold.
I knew it couldn't last,
But still I ask why,
I scramble for anything that makes sense,
When my world is tumbling down.
You don't answer although I soon know,
I watch as you take your life,
A dagger through your heart,
Pierced through your soul.
I fall down next to you,
Salty tears in my eyes,
Because although I knew it couldn't last,
There's emptiness inside.
I raise my fist at our dark master,
And inside my heart breaks,
I shout revenge upon my master,
For taking you from me.
He sends me on another mission,
This time I must recruit,
An innocent young boy,
Who looks a lot like you.
I shake with anger as well as fear,
As I hold your dagger in my hand.
I say goodbye to our cruel master,
As I say hello to you.

AN: How creepy is that poem? It's not very good but I realized I still had it and figured I may as well put it up here so there was SOMETHING here. The first part of this way loosely based on a dream but I guess I was in a bad mood when I wrote this because it came out more depressing than the dream. Anyways I took to finishing this one day and it really kind of scares me. Anyways, review, if you want to...
