Distract my thoughts

from lopsided absences.

Absolve my mind,

of all the damned regret.

Mask my eyes with drying leaves.

Brittle and obsolete.

Leave me be.

Place the coins,

so I may pay the toll.

Vanth, Vanth mine eyes wonder.

You must forgive me,

for never making a word of sense.

But why bring your threats;

as if I could care less?
