I walk the line, the tightrope line

Above a WARNING: DANGER sign.

It's getting thinner all the time-

But I am resigned

To walk the line.

The crowd is getting rowdy-

Their shouts echo as dark engulfs me-

I cannot see my audience-

I'm sorry, am I making sense?

My concentration must be intense-

I can not break, as to the end of time ...

Though it bends my feet and bruises my spine

I must always walk the line.
