She was in the basement doing her homework. Suddenly she heard a noise coming from upstairs, since her family was sound asleep in bed, she decided to go and take a look.

The upstairs was dark and she had not dared to turn a light, in case of waking someone up. She walked into the living room looked around and there was no sight of any thing previously falling over or moved.

She walked into the hallway quickly glancing into each room. As she was walking down the dark hallway, some one grabbed her and covered her mouth to stop her from screaming. They pulled her close and gazed deep into her eyes, when she saw who it was she stopped screaming. It was one of the guys that she had worked with in the play her school was performing.

“What are you doing here?” she asked him.

“I had to talk to you, every time I try to tell you this we get distracted. The thing is over the past few days, I seem to have fallen for you, watching you with the others… I don’t know. But what I do know is that I definitely… sort of… kind of… like you.” he said to her.

He gazed deeper into her eyes and then he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him and he kissed her after a few seconds of shock she kissed him back. It was one of the best kisses she had ever had, they stopped when they heard footsteps in the hallway.

One of her parents had awoken, so she went out into the hall and told them that she was in the office looking for a book and that convinced them to go back to bed. When they door closed behind them she walked back into the office.

They both gave a small laugh and looked deep into each other’s eyes and they slowly moved closer and kissed again. He had to go before another family member awoke.

"We can talk about this at school tomorrow." she said.

"Okay, until then." he said and with another kiss climbed back out the window.

That night she barely slept thinking only of the kiss.
