A Long Dull Winter

It's a long walk to nowhere

With everyone in my way

Theres a silent appresension

But an epic will to leave

It's the wrong talk that fills the air

In this inconsistant state

There's no room for misconception

But there's so much misbelief

That I can't breathe

And I may be running in circles

But I think they're getting larger

And with every passing cycle

I think I'm getting farther

But no one's left this prison

That I haven't seen return

And this mission needs revision

Lest I fail like those before

And it's a long walk to nowhere

With everyone in my way

I don't know where I'm going

But I'm not content to stay
